手板按照制作的手段分，可分为手工手板和数控手板：

要表现在它的快速性上，但是它主要是通过堆积技术成型，因而RP手板一般相对粗糙，而且对产品的壁厚有一定要求，比如说壁厚太薄便不能生产。

手板按照制作所用的材料分，可分为塑胶手板和金属手板：
